3 Tips for healthier Mind, Body, Soul and Skin

Sharing some tips this week for a Healthy mind, body, soul & skin.


After years of never putting myself or my mental health first, I now have a simple and effective daily wellness routine that I make sure I follow every day. First, I want to stress the importance of having a daily wellness routine, we are so used to waking up and rushing to go to work or, taking the kids to school, or going on our phone on social media as soon as we wake up. I've now learnt to wake up that little bit earlier and have that time to myself rather than jumping straight out of bed.





I'm really not a morning person as all, but I'm a wellness advocate for myself and others, so learning to prioritise that over work or even getting the kids ready for school, whatever it might be, having that time to yourself in the mornings is so important. Remember, you can never pour from an empty cup, so taking care of yourself first before others is NOT selfish. I'm a firm believer that your day depends on how you start it, if you wake up in a rush that put's you in a bad mood, it will effect your whole day. If you wake up feeling well rested, having had some time to yourself and slowly start your day, your day will run smoother.





Where do you start with your daily wellness routine?


Well, start by doing what YOU want to do, what makes you feel happy. What makes you feel ready to take on the day?


Here's some things that I do as part of my daily wellness routine that you can think about adding to your own.


Positive affirmations/manifestations


Saying positive affirmations in the morning, really helps me get in a good mood for the day, especially if I'm ever feeling a bit down. They support a healthy mind and give me happy thoughts. Moving my body - Stretching or Exercising


I make sure to move my body each morning, whether that means doing a few daily stretches or even a 10 min work out. I find this helps my body wake up and feel amazing too. I feel like I've accomplished something when I do this everyday, honestly love it.

Hydration


Hydration is SO important! That's internally and externally. I always start my day with a cold water and sliced lemon.
